In 2010, Ben Irvine started the London Cycle Map Campaign.

The campaign grew out of Cycle Lifestyle, a free magazine aiming to inspire more Londoners to cycle. Founded by Ben Irvine, the magazine ran to ten issues and was distributed in London and beyond between 2009 and 2014.

The London Cycle Map Campaign is calling for a single London Cycle Map that’s clear and easy to use and corresponds to a unified network of signed cycle routes throughout Greater London: the cycling equivalent of the London Underground Map.
